报告摘要
The precise study of Higgs boson production is essential both for testing the Standard Model and for probing the Higgs self-coupling through di-Higgs processes. Constraints on the Higgs self-coupling can be obtained through direct searches for double-Higgs production as well as indirectly via precision measurements of single-Higgs processes, where electroweak corrections provide sensitivity to this parameter. The combination of these measurements enables a more comprehensive understanding of the Higgs sector and improves constraints on fundamental couplings that are directly linked to the structure of the Higgs potential and the stability of the electroweak vacuum.
Furthermore, as the LHC moves toward higher energies and luminosities, major detector upgrades will be crucial to fully exploit the physics potential of future datasets. In this context, the ATLAS Inner Tracker (ITk) and the High Granularity Timing Detector (HGTD) will play key roles in enhancing experimental sensitivity, particularly in the challenging environment of the High-Luminosity LHC era.

Fábio Lucio Alves,巴西人,现为南京大学博士后。2018年,在巴西物理研究中心(CBPF)获得理学博士学位,博士毕业后至今在南京大学从事博士后研究工作。主要研究方向是实验粒子物理,拥有对撞机物理、标准模型(SM)和超标模型(BSM)搜索、探测器开发以及数据分析等方面的经验。
